Starting in Acctivate version 9, the Purchase Order Outstanding Amounts will be calculated slightly different than in previous versions. We will now exclude non-inventoried products from this calculation since these products aren’t actually received into Inventory. Thus, non-inventoried products aren’t actually going to be outstanding.
When opening an existing Purchase Order, you may receive a message stating the TotalAmountOutstanding will be changed. You will be requested to update the Purchase Order. We recommend you update the Purchase Order, which will properly recalculate the Total Outstanding Amount properly.
Any Purchase Orders created after you have upgraded Acctivate to version 9 shouldn’t have this issue and, therefore, shouldn’t return this type of message.
