Starting with the Windows 10 update (version 1809), it has been reported that opening existing sales orders or creating new orders in Acctivate leads to the following error:
“Length of NEW column color cannot be zero”
It’s likely that the latest Windows update has altered a component used by Acctivate and that change has caused this error to the returned. We have reported the issue to Microsoft and we hope that they will issue a patch for the issue in a forthcoming Windows update. As of now, Microsoft has pulled the 1809 update from circulation, so it shouldn’t be an issue moving forward. If you have already updated and are getting this error, simply have your IT personnel uninstall the 1809 Windows update and revert to Windows version 1803.
