Manage the Ship To Comments on an order

Acctivate gives you multiple ways and places to keep notes for each sales order. This includes a special section where you can save pre-written instructions that appear on a drop down list. The comments are designed to appear on your shipping documents. They are selected in the Instruction tab of the sales order.

Ship To Comments can be configured to whatever you choose appropriate for your business’ shipping instructions, reminders or other shipping comments.

Entering a New Ship To Comment

  1. Go to File > Configuration Management.
  2. Open the Sales Orders folder.
  3. Select Ship To Comment from the options in the folder.
  4. Click the Edit button in the toolbar of the Configuration Manager, and a new row will appear for entering a new ship to comment.
  5. Click in the data grid row marked with the asterisk (*).
  6. Enter the new comment in the Comment column.
    As you type a new comment, a new row will appear under the current one, for adding another comment.
  7. Check or uncheck the Active checkbox, depending on if you want the comment to be available for use within the system or not.
  8. If you want to add another comment, click in the row beneath the one you currently added and follow steps 5 through 9 again.
  9. Click the Save button.

Editing a Ship To Comment

  1. Repeat steps 1 through 4 above.
  2. Click in the data grid row you want to edit.
  3. Make the necessary changes.
  4. Click the Save button.

Deleting a Ship To Comment

  1. Repeat steps 1 through 4 above.
  2. Click the gray, row select box of the data grid row you want to delete. This will highlight the whole row, blue.
  3. Press the Delete key on your keyboard.
  4. If you are sure you want to delete the row, click yes from the Delete Rows prompt.
  5. Click the Save button.
