Acctivate Help is not displayed after pressing F1 from within Acctivate or clicking Help from the Help menu. In addition, clicking the “Help and Support” link from the Windows Start Menu does not open the Help Center.
Opening the Acctivate.chm file directly from Windows Explorer results in the following error message
Cannot Open the File: Mk:@MSITStore:C:\Program Files\ACCTivate\Acctivate.chm
This problem is related to a problem with the Microsoft Compiled Help system. It’s most likely the result of a mismatched DLL located somewhere on your computer.
Open a new Command Prompt (DOS) and run the following commands:
- regsvr32 %systemroot%\system32\hhctrl.ocx
- regsvr32 %systemroot%\system32\itss.dll
