Credit Card information may be removed in QuickBooks

Customer Credit Card information may be removed or overwritten in QuickBooks if the option to ‘Copy Acctivate Credit Card information to QuickBooks’ is enabled.

Open Configuration Manager -> Customer -> Customer Options, you will find an option called ‘Copy Acctivate Credit Card information to QuickBooks’.

Disable the option to copy Credit Card information to QuickBooks.
If you manage and maintain Credit Card information in QuickBooks, then uncheck this option. Acctivate will not copy or override Credit Card information in QuickBooks.

Enable the option to copy Credit Card information to QuickBooks.

If you manage and maintain this information in Acctivate, then you can enable this option as this will allow Acctivate to pass the Credit Card Information to QuickBooks.

Allow Acctivate to access personal data such as Social Security Numbers and customer credit card information.

If you do not see the option to ‘Copy Acctivate Credit Card information to QuickBooks’ in Configuration Manager, enable ‘Allow this application to access personal data such as Social Security Numbers and customer credit card information.’ This can be done by updating your QuickBooks preferences.
